A team of assessors from the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA) is scheduled to perform a review of the 91破解版 Police Department (PD) policies and procedures, management, operation and support services March 3-5 as part of the department鈥檚 bid for re-accreditation, PD鈥檚 Chief Ceaser Moore, Jr. announced.
The voluntary review is held every four years to assess the department鈥檚 compliance with over 200 rigorous standards that are based on nationally recognized best practices in public safety. IACLEA accreditation is recognition of a campus public safety department鈥檚 professional excellence.
University members, department employees and the public are invited to offer comments by calling (346) 248-7799 on Monday, March 4, between 1-3 p.m. Comments will be taken by the IACLEA assessment team during that time and must address the department鈥檚 ability to comply with IACLEA鈥檚 standards.
The IACLEA Accreditation Standards Manual is available on the IACLEA website (). Additionally, anyone wishing to submit written comments about PD鈥檚 ability to comply with the standards for accreditation may email them to jmurphy@iaclea.org.

The IACLEA assessment team is composed of experienced campus law enforcement professionals from outside the area according to compliance manager Lori Percle. The assessors are team leader Tamara McCollough, CCCO, MS, EdD(c), director of public safety (retired), Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology; and Cleveland 鈥淪mitty鈥� Smith, Major (retired), Department of Public Safety & Police, Anne Arundel Community College. Once the assessors complete their review of the department, they will report their findings back to IACLEA, which will then decide if the department is to be granted re-accreditation, said Percle.
