OPT Request Procedures
The may assists F-1 students at with request for OPT and application for EAD. F-1 students wishing to apply for OPT should review the appropriate application forms at: to schedule an OPT appointment. Post-completion OPT appointments are held in a group setting with up to 50 participants.
Individuals wanting general information on post-completion OPT are encouraged to visit during walk-in appointments on Mondays or Tuesdays from 5-6pm during the Fall and Spring semesters. Alternative appointments with an International Student Counselor can be scheduled by calling at (713) 743-5065.
