my Welcome First-Time Users

Obtaining your my ID

To obtain your my ID :

  1. Go to .
  2. Click on Help me with "my ID."
  3. Please read and accept the Terms and Conditions in order to proceed with the request.
  4. Fill in all required information fields and click continue.
  5. Answer the final verification question and submit your request.
  6. Your web browser will automatically redirect to a page containing your my ID.
  7. Log on using your my ID and password. For Students using a temporary password upon log-in; you will be immediately prompted to change your password.
  8. To report problems retrieving your my ID , please call 713-743-1411.

Obtaining your my Password

To obtain your my Password:

  1. Go to .
  2. Click on Help me with my "password."
  3. Fill in your my User ID and click continue.
  4. Answer the user validation question and click the "Email New Password" button.
  5. An automated email containing your new temporary password will be sent to either your mail.uh.edu account or your preferred destination email account. Learn more about
  6. You will log on using your my ID and new temporary password. Once you log on, you will be immediately prompted to change your password.
  7. To report problems retrieving your my ID password, please call 713-743-1411.
