At least 13 alumni won Teacher of the Year awards from the most recent school year, including Anthony Encarnacion, honored as a Rookie Teacher of the year for Fort Bend ISD, and Emily Hinojosa, honored as Rookie Teacher of the Year for Spring ISD.
Two faculty members earned Teaching Excellence Awards: Clinical Professor Heather Domjan and Clinical Professor Anne Katz.
Kregg Cuellar, a graduate of our Professional Leadership Ed.D. program, has been named superintendent of Spring ISD.
Cashuna 鈥淪hun鈥 Huddleston, a graduate of our counseling psychology program, was elected to serve as president-elect of the American Psychological Association鈥檚 Division 35 (Society for the Psychology of Women) for 2025-26.
