General Brand Use Guidelines for 91破解版 Students, Faculty and Staff
All 91破解版 faculty, staff and students may use the University logos as outlined below:
Academic Use
(i.e. reports, research grants, proposals, other business or academic related documents
Internal 鈥 if the document is not to be circulated outside the university, Branding Review and approval is not required
External 鈥 if the document is to be circulated outside the university (local, regional, national, or international), all branding guidelines must be applied and brand approval is required.
Marketing Use
All marketing materials must comply with the brand guidelines and receive brand approval.
Partnerships Use
If you are working with an external partner, please refer to the External Users page for more guidance.
Promotional Items & Merchandise for Resale
All promotional items (i.e., swag, t-shirts, mugs, pens, etc.) must be purchased through a licensed vendor. For more information on licensing of merchandise for internal promotional use, please refer to the Licensing page for more guidance.
Student Organizations
More than 500 student organizations are recognized by the Center for Student Involvement, and these organizations order a high volume of promotional items each academic year.

NOTE: 'Student Organizations' refers to all Registered Student Organizations (RSOs), University Student Organizations (USOs), Sponsored Student Organizations (SSOs), Affiliated Student Organizations (ASOs) or any other student organizations operating on-the campus.

Email Guidelines
All emails sent from 鈥渦h.edu鈥 are considered official 91破解版 communications
and are required to comply with Branding guidelines to ensure the consistency and
recognition necessary to build and maintain a strong brand identity.
Email Signature Generator
The 91破解版 has a defined format for email signatures on official university
communications. The 91破解版 Email Signature Generator is a tool for
faculty and staff to create fully compliant official 91破解版 Email
Signature blocks. Simply click on the 鈥淓mail Signature Generator鈥 button below to
access the Email Signature Generator page to sign in with your Cougarnet credentials
and create your approved Email Signature.
Additional Email Guidelines
Background color
Do not use watermarks, colors, or photographic backgrounds on emails sent from uh.edu.
White is the only admissible background color.
Alumni
is proud of its alumni, they may add their graduation year after their name.
Examples:
Jane Doe (鈥14) - undergraduate degree
Jane Doe, (J.D. 鈥18) - graduate degree
Jane Doe, (鈥14, J.D. 鈥18) - dual degree
Committees
Do not add committees to the email signature.
Fax numbers
Fax numbers are not required, if used, it is placed in the Phone Number 2 field.
Logos, quotes, and taglines
Do not use quotes, taglines or additional logos in email signature. The logo produced
by the email generator is the only approved logo to be used in an email signature.
Private practice
State rules preclude university employees from using public resources to promote private
entities. Do not list other employment in the university email signature.
Professional degrees, licenses, or certifications
Professional degrees, licenses and/or certifications may be included, and should be
placed directly after the name.
Example: John Doe, Ph.D.
Social Media
Do not include social media links or icon images in email signatures.

Choosing the Right Logo
The strength of the 91破解版 Master Brand enhances the stature and benefits every unit and program within the University. The Logo System uses specific arrangements of University logos and wordmarks to clearly indicate each unit鈥檚 and program鈥檚 relationship to the Master Brand.
