Cougar Preview is our grand on-campus experience for students to get to know their future home! This event provides an introduction to the 91ÆÆ½â°æ from the Admissions team, an academic information session by your college of interest and an overview of scholarships and financial aid. Plus, you'll hear from current students who are excited to share their experiences!

11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Academic College Information Sessions Your major matters. Join the college of your choice to meet current students and advisors to learn about your future field of study. You'll be escorted to the location. Only one guest is permitted per student. |
11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. (After 11:30 a.m., sessions become more flexible. Guests are welcome to enjoy lunch on their own at one of the many dining options in the Student Center or the Cougar Woods.)

Parent & Supporter Information Sessions Coog Moms: Discover the strength of community through the Coog Moms organization. Learn how this group of dedicated parents and supporters plays an active role in student success and campus life. Gain insights into their experiences and explore how families can get involved in meaningful ways. Police Department (PD): Campus safety matters. Meet representatives from the Police Department to learn how they keep our campus secure and support our students. From safety tips to campus resources, this session provides peace of mind for students and their families. Dean of Students: Your support system matters. Join the Dean of Students Office to hear about the resources and services available to help students thrive academically and personally. Learn how the office advocates for student success, well-being, and a vibrant campus community. |
1 – 3 p.m. | Campus Tour (Pre-Registration Required) An ambassador will show you some highlights of our beautiful campus. Tours will depart from the Student Center every 30 minutes. Housing Tour (Pre-Registration Required) An ambassador will guide you to our showroom in Cougar Village II, a freshman housing facility. Tours will depart from the Student Center every 30 minutes. |
1 – 2:30 p.m. | Shasta Roundup Resource Fair Learn about campus departments that provide services, programs and resources to support you during your college career. |
1:15 – 1:45 p.m. | Applying as a Freshman Learn about freshman admission requirements and upcoming deadlines. Applying as a Transfer Student Learn about transfer admissions requirements, how to navigate transfer credits and the benefits of joining . College of Pharmacy Information Session Are you interested in a career in healthcare but have no clue what pathway to pursue? Join the College of Pharmacy and learn about our Pharm.D. program and how a future in Pharmacy may be right for you! |
2 – 2:30 p.m. | Financing Your Education The Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid will give you insight on how to maximize your financial aid opportunities. |
2:45 – 3:15 p.m. | Choose Your Own Adventure Living On-Campus Presentation: Living on campus supports student success. Learn about how to apply for housing and the perks of living on campus. After the presentation, an optional tour of Cougar Village II, the most popular freshman residence hall, will be offered. Honors College Presentation: Come learn about our prestigious Honors College program, connect with current students and have your questions answered. |
2:45 – 4 p.m. | Counseling Session Individual Admissions Counseling: Get your specific questions answered 1-on-1 by an admissions counselor. Individual Financial Aid Counseling: Get your specific questions answered 1-on-1 by a financial aid counselor. |
