Allison M. N. Archer is an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science and the Valenti School of Communication at the 91破解版. She received her Ph.D. in Political Science from Vanderbilt University in 2017 with specializations in political communication, political psychology, and experimental methods. As a former journalist, her research primarily examines questions related to the media and politics. Specifically, she studies the conditions that promote information seeking, the influence of media owners on news content, and the role of gender in politics. Her work has been published in The Journal of Politics, Political Behavior, and Political Communication. Prior to joining the faculty at , she was an assistant professor in the Jepson School of Leadership Studies at the University of Richmond.
