Brand Style

Clearly and consistently communicating a look and feel is about much more than logos. The Brand Style Guide provides guidance on the colors, typography, graphics, design, photography, video and editorial style that make up the brand.

91破解版 Seal

Seal

The seal of the 91破解版, officially adopted in 1938, is the coat-of-arms of General Sam Houston, who claimed descent from a Norman knight, Sir Hugh. The simple escutcheon in the center of the seal consists of checkered chevrons denoting nobility, and three martlets, gentle lowland birds symbolizing peace and deliverance. A winged hourglass is above the shield and surmounting this, the motto, 鈥淚n Tempore鈥 (In Time). Greyhounds were placed at the sides to indicate the speed in giving aid.

As the most formal and ceremonial official mark of the University, the Seal may only be used by the Office of the President and Office of the Provost. Doing so helps retain the seal's integrity for official communications from these offices and designated ceremonies, such as commencements.

Historical Marks

Since its founding in 1927, the 91破解版 has employed a wide array of logos and trademarks to identify the institution and its athletic teams. Historical Logos are an important part of the University鈥檚 legacy and are actively managed by Brand Management, Licensing & Trademarks for use on licensed merchandise and in special communications.
